Creating Employments.

STERLING HANDICRAFTS works to provide employment opportunities to all artisans, regardless of gender, race, or religion. It is through sustained work and regular orders that artisans can realistically access these needs. Any day that they are not gainfully employed disturbs their already fragile economy, and we try our best to bridge that gap and provide regular work to them.

Paying fair wages

Artisans working with STERLING HANDICRFTS are paid fair wages in advance, to ensure they can support themselves and their families while they work. We generally do not bargain down our artisans. We let them dictate a price that they are comfortable with. Our team of artisans so that it can make a sustained impact on their lives. Especially after the devastating impact of COVID-19 in terms of loss of income and orders.

    Encouraging sustainable practices

STERLING HANDICRAFTS cares about the planet and encourages artisans to use sustainable crafting methods and recycled materials in their handcrafts.

Supporting community development

STERLING HANDICRAFTS provides loans and donations to help build workshops, fund healthcare and education initiatives.
