Thanks for being here
Sarai Tarin is a traditional center of craft and manufacturing. Traditionally it has been involved in the manufacture of handicrafts made from horn, bone, wood, and brass. Even though the area is inhabited by craftsmen, the irregularity of work and fluctuating demands have generally kept people poor.
We are supported by a team of professional experts, which assists us efficiently in our entire business processes. The professionals working with us are sincere and honest toward the successful accomplishment of their assigned tasks. Our designers employ their innovative ideas to design and develop the offered range as per the current market trends. We organize regular training sessions and workshops to keep our workforce updated with market-changing trends.
The artisans work either from home (women) or at small units (men). We give them designs (prototypes) and explain the process to be followed. The women work from home at hours that they are most comfortable with and men generally have fixed hours but work at their own pace. Most work is piece based and there is no pressure to maximize output. The availability of a large pool of artisans ensures that larger orders can be spread out to more people.
OUR
Mission
Making high-quality products that are manufactured in an ethical way is important to us. We are committed to fueling the world with sustainably made items because we know what it feels like when you’re deprived of fair wages for your work, or if your safety is compromised on the job. It’s this commitment that drives our success as a company and ensures that trading fairer really does make life better.
We think of ourselves as a social enterprise and we want to act sustainably in all areas of our business while looking out for our teams. Our mission touches upon 3 areas – product, economic, and social.
